- Set experience thresholds and enable progression for eligible ranks. Premium includes automated progression; account status and community configuration still apply.
- Keep authority explicit
- Configure staff requirements and locked ranks. Clan Labs checks permissions, rank boundaries, restrictions, and current Roblox information before a change.

- An active community with a working Roblox Creator OAuth connection and the required Roblox permissions.
- Configured rank order, thresholds, and staff permissions; blacklist and suspension restrictions still apply.
- Discord permissions and role hierarchy when rank changes also need to update Discord roles.

Premium includes automatic rank progression. Pro adds rank changes through API v2 with the members.ranks.write scope. Dashboard and Discord actions also depend on permissions, trial status, and service readiness.

Can I use Clan Labs as a Roblox ranking bot in Discord?
Yes. Authorized staff can promote, demote, or change a member's Roblox rank through Discord commands. The Roblox connection and the community's plan, permission, and rank checks must allow the action.
Does changing a Discord role change a Roblox rank?
Role binds map Roblox group information to Discord roles. To change a Roblox rank, use a supported rank action or configured automatic progression; assigning a Discord role on its own is not that operation.
What if Roblox cannot confirm a rank change?
Check the member's current Roblox rank before retrying. If Clan Labs reports that the rank check is unavailable, it has not made the change. A temporary lookup failure should not be handled by repeatedly submitting promotions.
